Traditional Pubs & Restaurants - 1 minute walk: Experience the warm hospitality of Cushendall by visiting traditional pubs & restaurants, where you can savour authentic Irish cuisine & enjoy some renowned traditional Irish music. Cushendall has a compact village centre, & most of the social scene is just a stone’s throw away! Cottage Woods & Play Park – 1 minute walk: Halfway up High Street you’ll find an access to Cottage Wood. This a lovely meandering route through a forest with lots of wildlife – can you spot the red squirrels?! Cushendall Beach, Playpark & Golf Club – 5 minute walk: Take a stroll to the nearby beach where you can dip your toes in the sea, take a dander up the Cliff Path to Layde where you can breathe in the refreshing salt air before a round of golf amidst spectacular scenery. Waterfoot Beach – 5 minute drive: a fantastic sandy beach with stunning views across Red Bay Harbour & Garron point with free parking & toilets. Glenariffe Forest Park - 10 minutes: Explore the breath-taking beauty of Glenariffe Forest Park, known as the "Queen of the Glens”. For the adventurous hikers we have Tieve Bulliah, Lurigethan & Trostan mountains to the west – all walkable from Cushendall.
