    Great location just 10 minutes walk from York Minster. Bathroom in the loft room is small due to sloping roof and as I’m 6ft I was unable to stand at toilet or sink but more a minor inconvenience for what was a pleasant stay.

The Townhouse is an elegant, recently refurbished guesthouse featuring three bespoke rooms, a comfortable guest lounge, a welcoming dining area, and a dedicated workspace. Nestled on a quiet residential street within York’s historic conservation area, it seamlessly blends heritage charm with modern comfort. Each room has been thoughtfully designed, offering orthopaedic beds, premium linens, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs with Netflix, tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and soundproof sash windows for a restful night’s sleep. PLEASE NOTE: The Deluxe Double Room with En-suite Shower: Located on the top floor of the house, up two flights of stairs. Part of the WC area and other areas in the space are built into the eaves of the house, so it may not be suitable for guests over 182cm / 6ft. The Twin and Double Rooms: Share a bathroom.
