Druim Mor, although positioned on a level site, has a terraced lawn and gives commanding views over the Minch towards Stornoway, the hills of Harris and the mainland.

The location is a quiet area set in crofting land on the outskirts of Stornoway, 9 minutes from the airport and 10-12 minutes to the town centre. The bus stops around 100m from the gate.
