Estuary View – Cosy Shepherd’s Hut with Estuary Views Nestled in the heart of the South Hams countryside, Estuary View offers a peaceful and picturesque glamping experience just one mile from Kingsbridge. This charming Shepherd’s Hut is perfect for two, featuring a comfortable 5ft double bed and a small sofa, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. You’ll have access to your own private mini kitchen, shower, and toilet, located just a few steps from the hut. Please note: these facilities are not inside the hut, so you will need to go outside to use them—but they are exclusively yours during your stay. Step out onto your spacious decked area, complete with a gas BBQ, and soak in the beautiful views towards the Kingsbridge and Salcombe Estuary. Private parking is also provided for your convenience. With easy access to local beaches, the South West Coast Path, and a fantastic choice of pubs and fine dining restaurants, Estuary View is a perfect base to explore this stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Explore South Devon from Estuary View Estuary View is perfectly located to enjoy the very best of this stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set out on foot along the South West Coast Path, spend the day on beautiful sandy beaches like Bantham, Thurlestone, and Hope Cove, or explore historic towns such as Totnes and Dartmouth. The surrounding area is dotted with charming villages, scenic walks, and a wide variety of tourist attractions and outdoor activities. There’s no shortage of excellent places to eat locally. If you’d rather not cook using Estuary View’s facilities, you’ll find plenty of inviting pubs, cosy cafés, and quality restaurants just a short drive or bus ride away. Not sure where to start? Getting Around The nearest bus stop is located right at the site entrance, with direct services to Totnes (and onward connections to the English Riviera and Exeter) or to Kingsbridge, where you can catch buses to Salcombe, Dartmouth, and Plymouth. There’s also an inland footpath into Kingsbridge, and local taxi services are available on request.
