Owls roost is self-check-in We have one large comfortable room for guests which now comes with a small complementary tray of breakfast items Owls roost is in a quiet location, close to amenities and a short walk from the railway station and town, Suffolk's lush countryside is ideal for cycling, running and walking, we can accommodate in the courtyard two cycles at a time for a small extra fee I have selected a few local eateries you might like to use in your stay and left leaflets in your room, some will deliver for you to collect from the main door Stowmarket has two theatres, one is also a cinema, live music at the Pickerel & numerous bars in the town
We live on-site and are contactable in emergencies, you will find the number on your booking form Details of local services and emergency medical help on the welcome sheet in your room,
Suffolk has many places of interest, for something special nearby Bury St Edmunds has many quaint bistros and eateries, Market days in Stowmarket are Wednesdays and Saturdays. Bury St Edmunds also has an outside market well worth a visit, The famous Cathedral & Abbey gardens are open for visitors plus an onsite café, the Cathedral also hosts candlelight concerts (details to be found on their website) there are many quaint villages waiting to be explored with country inns serving food in glorious settings, Or a visit to nearby Icworth house or Helmingham hall with their host of beautiful gardens and many summer events
