Number 22 Castle Street is an historic maisonette located in the very heart of Hay on Wye and on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons and the River Wye. The property has been lovingly renovated, retaining much of its character, whilst offering cosy luxury. Extending over three floors, the property also includes a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite with walk-in shower and a private rear garden equipped for al-fresco dining, reading and BBQ's and with views of Hay Castle. NB. The sitting room/kitchen and bedroom/bathroom are on the first and second floors respectively. Access via a steep staircase and the low beams in the bedroom may make this apartment inappropriate for those with mobility issues.
Castle Street is the main shopping street in the very heart of Hay on Wye. Within a few minutes walk are the famous Blue Boar pub, Booths Bookshop, Rawhide, Hay Castle and the River Wye. The Brecon Beacons are a short drive away but Hay Bluff is within walking distance.
