Our 'Garden View Apartment' is a purpose built, and overlooks our private large back garden. It is set apart from the main house, and is lovely and peaceful. It is perfectly located for access to many beaches and walks, and we are happy to provide any advice or information including a map of the local area and a guest welcome letter giving useful information to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
Hello, my name is Jo, and I have lived in the area all my life. Since moving to Malborough over 15 years ago, I bought the lease on the local pub 'The Old Inn' with my partner Colin, and ran it with my daughter, Sophie. We sold over 5 years ago, and found that there was still a demand for more accommodation in Malborough.
Malborough itself has two local pubs, 'The Old Inn' that serves fantastic food, and 'The Royal Oak' which hosts live musics most weekends. There is a large local Co-op which opens early until late every day, and is perfect for grabbing a bottle of wine, and provisions for the apartment. Local walks are just on your doorstep, and a designated path to Salcombe take just 45 minutes to walk to. A bus stop is located at the end of the road, and runs hourly to Salcombe, and Kingsbridge, where further buses can be caught if you fancy exploring the area some more.
