This is a beautifully renovated Victorian property in the charming market town of Hungtingdon. The property is also connected to Cambridge by the Guided Busway. The Guided way bus stop is around 150 meters from the house. Ideal and value for money stay, especially for large groups or family visiting Cambridge and its beautiful neighborhood. The large living dining area in this house is great for family to relax and spend time together. It is grand room with a 4 meter high ceiling as you can see in the pictures!
I am a property investor and have a portfolio across UK. I am passionate about property, recycling, gardening, travel and horses.
Huntingdon is a bustling historic market town with excellent road and rail links to Cambridge. The town straddles the ancient Roman Road of Ermine Street (part of the Great North Road), where it crosses the River Great Ouse. The name Huntingdon derives from the old English term 'huntedun', which means 'Hunte's hill'. The town's ancient market square is surrounded by several buildings of note, including a fine Town Hall (built in 1745), the Medieval All Saints Church and the Cromwell Museum which is the former grammar school that Oliver Cromwell attended and now features a collection of paintings and personal items related to the Lord Protector of the Commonwealth during the 17th century. A great way to explore is the self-guided treasure hunt around the city which takes 2 hours. Nearby Hinchingbrooke Country Park and Brampton Woods offer a great day out as do St Ives and St Neots, both picturesque Cambridgeshire villages. For your fill of art and history, visit the art gallery housed at stunning National Trust building Houghton Mill.
