Discover the Local Area Gilehed House is perfectly placed to explore the charm of Loughbrickland and the surrounding countryside. The village itself offers a peaceful setting with scenic walks, boutique coffee shop, award winning restaurant, a timeless old tyme bar saloon serving the best pint of Guinness for miles, shops.. all these and more are all nestled together on the shores of a beautiful lake just a short stroll away. The mountain ranges of the Mournes (where the mountains swoop down to the sea) are visible from the village as is the mountain ranges of Carlingford, Slieve Gullion and Camlough mountains.
