A beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom property. Ghillies has fantastic loch and mountain views, stretching along Glen Dochart and Loch Iubhair A peaceful and relaxing holiday home with everything you need for a perfect stay. Accommodation is over two floors, with all bedrooms having access to their own bathrooms. Upstairs the master bedroom has its own private balcony and there is a large twin bedroom - the beds can be zipped together to make a large double bed. On the ground floor is another large double bedroom. Other features include a large sitting room with patio doors to a private patio with BBQ and garden furniture; an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area. Ghillies is the perfect place to relax. Special features: WiFi, wood burning stove, coffee pod machine; TV with SKY package including Sports, Nintendo Wii and Blu Ray DVD. Twin bedroom with zip and link beds. Upstairs bedrooms with ensuites and master bedroom with private balcony. Pull down double bed for +2 in the lounge area. Bed linen, towels and hairdryer all included. For an extra fee we can arrange car hire of a 5 door Hyundai i10 plus pick up and drop off from Crianlarich station. Ghillies is accessible by train on the West Coast Line including the Caledonian Sleeper, by road and by air from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We look forward to welcoming you to Ghillies. We have ourselves enjoyed many holidays at Ghillies from when our children were small and we would take them to the swimming pool and beach in Oban and potter by the local Lochs, to more recently completing the West Highland Way and visiting the climbing centre at Kinlochleven. Life in the Highlands is never dull.
Ghillies Lodge is located in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. You’ll find us a few miles south of Crianlarich, amidst the magical part of the Central Highlands people think of as ‘real’ Scotland. We are only 1hr 15m from Glasgow Airport and 2 Hours from Edinburgh. Within an hour, you can be in Oban, the gateway to the Isles; Glencoe, great for walking and skiing (in season); Killin, with an 18 hole golf course and the beautiful Falls of Dochart; Loch Lomond, with watersports, pleasure cruises and shopping; picturesque Inverary and historic Callander, popular with tourists for its walking routes and restaurants and good access to the West Highland Way.
