Going Coastal is a luxuriously restored traditional fisherman's cottage in the harbour village of Cairnbulg. It still has many original period features throughout the property. It's what you want it to be - a cosy retreat to recharge, and enjoy miles of scenic walks along beautiful beaches, golfing at the village's own eighteen hole links course or even use it as a base for sightseeing throughout the stunning North East of Scotland. The freshest of seafood can be sourced very easily in Fraserburgh's fishing town, only 3 miles away, practically straight off the local fishing vessels. Or why not try the local restaurants in the town where you can sample the local catch of the day or try any of the local fish and chip shops where freshness is a cert. Going Coastal is a two minute walk to viewing the beautiful coast line and hearing the calming sound of the sea. The village has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where there is a local convenience shop with a post office. Cairnbulg Harbour, popular with inshore fisherman from the village and surrounding areas. Maggie's Hoosie, a step back in time to a time when entire family's would live within 2 rooms traditionally known as a but and ben built in the early 1700's can be visited by arrangement, Peter's Ices which is part of Aberdeenshire ice cream trail . Cairnbulg Castle is 1.8miles (3 minute drive) from the village with many other castles in the area. The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh, Kinnaird Head Lighthouse; the very first lighthouse on mainland Scotland built in 1787, Kinnaird Head Castle with the museum alongside it. There are a choice of coffee shops to enjoy some afternoon tea, Symposium coffee house, Nooks and Crannies, Beach Cafe and much more also diners, The Captains Table, Findlays Fish Bar, Peartree Bistro and The Stag and Thistle restaurant
