Property information

A Warm Welcome Awaits at the Green View Guest House. A Beautiful Victorian House retaining many original features and situated overlooking Silloth Green with wonderful views of the Solway Firth and Criffel Peak over the water in Scotland. Best Rates Always Available only when booking direct. Relax in our newly refurbished guest lounge and enjoy spectacular sunsets along with a drink from our bar, before enjoying a home-cooked dinner in our restaurant - Stella's Bistro. Of course, a full Breakfast is included every morning! We also have Secure CCTV Monitored parking for Bicycles with charging facilities for Electric Bikes too!

Neighbourhood information

The Green View is just down the road from the famous Solway Firth Golf Club, perfectly located for a relaxing evening and comfortable sleep after a day on the Greens! We are also on the Hadrians Wall Cycle path, (Route 72), there is plenty of walking and cycling to enjoy nearby. Just 23 Miles from Carlisile, 13 Miles from Maryport, and 18 Miles from Cockermoth, Silloth is really the North Coast Gateway to the Lake District - Keswick is just 27 miles away. Silloth itself is a delightful Victorian coastal town, with many small shops, cafe's and Amusements - a Motorcycle Museum and our "World Famous" Toy Soliders Museum! Best of all is the 35ha of public Green, don't miss the Fairy Trail, Water Park, BMX Track and Woodland Adventure Play Area - or just take a stroll along the Prom. The Green also hosts many events throughout the summer - look out for the Annual Carnival, Vintage Rally and Soul on the Green - there really is something for everyone!
