The location is to die for ... fantastic views over the bay... I could have sat in the garden just watching the sea and the islands for ever ... you can even check the length of queue at the fish & chip shop from the garden!... lovely comfortable...

Hafan (Welsh for Haven) is a beautifully renovated family run holiday cottage set in a large lawned garden. With beautiful views of picture post card village of Aberdaron and Cardigan Bay, Hafan sleeps six and has ample off road parking for cars and boats as well as a lockable out building for bikes and surfboards.etc. Sorry, due to a family member allergy, no pets are allowed and no smoking. Hafan is set safely off the quiet Deunant road with unspoilt views over the village to the Gwylan Islands and out to Cardigan Bay. With a well kept garden, patio and half an acre of wild bracken Welsh hillside, its just a three minute walk down to the safe sandy beach and village. Most rooms, including the lounge, dining room and both upstairs bedrooms have sea views and Hafan is centrally heated with an additional wood burning stove in the lounge. The ambiance is light and summery with solid Oak floors in the lounge, original pine floors in the dining room and original unspoilt quarry tiles in the traditional Llyn style kitchen. Both the bathroom and shower room have stylish modern fittings and lovely travertine tiling. As well as two bedrooms and a wc upstairs, there is also a ground floor double bedroom and wc/shower room making Hafan suitable for restricted mobility guests. Outside, there is a neat garden with a patio and picnic table overlooking the sea and village and a lawn terrace which also overlooks the sea and village. Hafan is simply a beautiful Welsh sea-side cottage.
Hello, I'm Neil and a Stonemason by trade. I am very fortunate to be able to let Hafan during the summer months and I'm always contactable by phone and happy to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Aberdaron is a quiet, picture postcard fishing village nestling on the very tip of the Lleyn Peninsula known as the Welsh Lands End, the last stopping place for Pilgrims visiting Bardsey Island. The village is now quietly relaxing into a gem of an unspoilt Welsh seaside village. Cafes selling family caught crabs and two pubs providing fine sea food menus complimenting nearby bustling towns of Abersoch and Pwellhi. Wonderfully unspoilt, Aberdaron never the less has all the facilities you will need including a fish and chip shop, news agents, a Spar and gift shops. However, the real Jewel in Aberdarons crown is the beautiful mile long sandy beach. Safe and sheltered, the beach is perfect for families or water sport enthusiast who can sometimes share the waters with occasional porpoise and seal visitors. Alternativly, why not just soak up the sun with a drink from the beach side hotel and watch the boats sailing in the bay which is also a frequent stopping off point for visitng yachts to set anchor, come ashore and share the delights of this beautiful, hidden spot
