Group Retreats would like to welcome you to Harkstead Hall! This beautiful country home is set within private grounds and is wonderfully secluded. Harkstead Beach is just a walk from the property, and is an unspoilt oasis within the Holbrook Bay on the River Stour. There are plenty of spaces here to play or just be together, and smaller spaces to break out, read and unwind. We do not allow parties and events when booking through Airbnb at this time.

Neighbourhood information

Nearby you will find local pubs, restaurants and cafes, including the popular Butt and Oyster pub, which is situated in the hamlet of Pin Mill on the River Orwell. The Suffolk Food Hall is close by and offers a range of local produce, café and Cook House restaurant. Jimmy's Farm is also near and is a great family day-out and also has a great farm shop and restaurant. Ipswich is 7 miles away. Harkstead Post Office and General Store is within walking distance. There is a general store in Chelmondiston too. Larger shops and supermarkets in Ipswich. The nearest pubs are the Red Lion in Chelmondiston and The Butt and Oyster in Pin Mill.
