Everything was provided for an excellent self catering holiday for a family of four. Oven, hob, fridge. Plenty of cutlery and crockery which was a nice bonus. Basic condiments provided. It felt like a really safe and comfortable home from home....

The chalet was bright, clean, cosy and was in a quiet location set away from the main road. It has all the mod-cons you need. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. We saved a lot on costly parking charges. £7.30 for 3 hours in the council car...

Heacham Hideaway is a cosy detached chalet located on the Cedar Springs Chalet Park in Heacham, Norfolk. It sleeps 4 people across two bedrooms with one double bed and one bunk room. The chalet benefits from a shower room with electric shower, sink and WC. Please note the sink only has cold water, but can be filled with hot water using the shower head if needed. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, sink with hot water heater, fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave and kettle. The living area has a freeview TV, sofa and dining area with table and 4 chairs. Cedar Springs is a lovely, well maintained and peaceful site, suitable for couples and families. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the park unless they are assistance dogs, and prior notice has been given to the park owners. Wildlife lovers may spot muntjac deer, hares and ducks on the chalet park. The Chalet will be professionally cleaned before guests' arrival. We ask that guests bring their own bed linen, towels and tea towels. Duvets and pillows are provided. We offer Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday bookings. Alternatively you may also book a full week with a Friday or Monday changeover.
Cedar Springs is fantastically located in the lovely village of Heacham - it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest sandy beach, a fish and chip shop, pubs and the local amusements. There is also a children's play park in the village, and there is a Lidl supermarket just over a mile away, as well as a Tesco Express and various takeaways conveniently located in the village. There are plenty of lovely walks from the chalet park too, if you choose to stay local. Heacham is also a great base from which to explore the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. Just outside of the village of Heacham is Norfolk Lavender, and Hunstanton is only a few miles up the coast where you'll find more shops, a funfair, amusement arcades and pubs etc. Only a short drive away you will find Sandringham estate, the Royal Family's Norfolk residence. The house and gardens are open to visitors between March and October, whereas the estate's parkland is open all year round. It is a beautiful place to visit and has a large car park, cafe, restaurant, gift shop and excellent outdoor children's play area. RSPB Snettisham and RSPB Titchwell Marsh are both around a 10-15 minute drive from the chalet. Further afield (approx 45 minutes) is Blakeney where you can go seal watching. The lovely towns of Burnham Market and Wells Next the Sea are within easy reach as is the historic town of Kings Lynn, including St George’s Guildhall one of the country's oldest theatres, where William Shakespeare performed in 1592!
