Located in an area of significant historical interest, this newly built, modern detached house provides high-quality self-catering holiday accommodation. The 2 bedrooms on the upper floor share the use of a large family bathroom with bath bathtub, a large walk-in shower cubicle, WC and sink. The large lounge and separate kitchen feature everything you require for a relaxing break with the added convenience of a cloakroom WC also on the ground floor. Higginsneuk is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside and is within easy reach of both Edinburgh and Glasgow making it perfect for exploring the nearby areas of Stirling, Falkirk and Fife.

Higginsneuk is in an ideal location to explore the local area, one which combines both outstanding natural beauty with a unique local history. Within a short driving distance you will also be able to sample Scotland’s magnificent Highland scenery and hospitality before returning home to the comfort of your accommodation. The surrounding area is steeped in history: the historic Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, Battle of Bannockburn in 1314 and Battle of Sherriffmuir in 1715 all helped to shape the history of Scotland and these sites can easily be visited from our properties. Allow yourself to become absorbed by the atmosphere, whilst visiting the magnificent Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and The Battle of Bannockburn Experience, and then recharge your batteries in one of the many cafés, restaurants or pubs. The nearby town of Falkirk is home to the world's only fully rotating boat lift , connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal, and also is home to The Kelpies @ Helix Park - the largest Equine statues in the world! The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts: walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer in the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further away are The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.
