Higher Farm B&B has been established for 12 years although, we only took over in August 2018. Having always wanted to have the opportunity to run a B&B we feel privileged to open the door of Higher Farm and let guests experience the unique experience. As a relatively small business we pride ourselves in being able to give the real home from home experience. Property information

Most definitely a retreat. Peace and quiet in an idyllic location but only 15 minutes away from the beautiful City of Chester. Chester is a wonderful city to explore with the Roman Walls, beautiful river, parks and Cathedral as well the unique Chester Rows, great cafes, shops and restaurants. Cheshire Farm Ice Cream at Tattenhall is a must for children and ice cream lovers. See all the animals and how the ice cream is made, as well as sampling the huge variety of flavours. Carden Park Golf Resort and Spa is only 5 minutes away and is well worth a visit for a round of golf, or a relaxing session in the Spa. The popular Cock o'Barton is within walking distance, good food and no need to use the car. Slightly further a field is the beautiful town of Llangollen in North Wales, about 35 minutes away where you can enjoy a ride in a Canal Narrow Boat as well as a Steam Train. Perhaps call at Erddig, near Wrexham to have a look around a stunning National Trust house and gardens. For walkers the Sandstone Trail runs across the hills not very far away and can be enjoyed from here, either for a short section or a much longer hike. Higher Farm B&B is situated in a small village. The B&B itself overlooks farm land and views across the Dee Valley are magnificent. We are 10 minutes from Whitchurch and Wrexham. Chester is 20 minutes drive away and well worth a visit.
