This is a traditional period English family home. The rooms are airy and large and the views are over lovely countryside.
The perfect house for family gatherings, long lazy lunches and supper parties during the autumn and winter months.
Please note there is a small camera overlooking the parking area for the safety of cars belonging to guests and to monitor unwanted intruders - it does not cover any areas once inside the garden gate.
The house is set in beautiful East Sussex countryside with long views over the hills. There are plenty of places to walk near the house. Hastings is about 10 minutes away with its lovely Old Town, fishing huts, pier, beaches, shops and restaurants.
It is within easy reach of Bexhill, Eastbourne and the picturesque small town of Rye. Bodiam Castle is about 10 minutes away.
The nearest small town is Battle with it's history from 1066 being the site of the Battle of Hastings and there are numerous pubs, cafes and small shops to visit there along with the Abbey.
There is a very good pub which does excellent food nearby.
There is ample free parking at the property.
