Property information

Once a derelict Dutch barn, Hill View Rise has been transformed into a unique, reverse-living holiday hideaway. This spacious converted barn sleeps eight guests in four, large double rooms - two downstairs and two upstairs - with three bathrooms (two ensuite). The upstairs living room and covered balcony, with outside seating, afford breath-taking views down to the Vale of Evesham and across to the Malvern Hills. The Cotswold Way and walks to popular Cotswold pubs are on the doorstep, including the Seagrave Arms just one mile away, while Broadway, Chipping Campden and Stratford-upon-Avon are all nearby. The barn has a large garden, easy-access parking for five cars and accepts one well-behaved dog. Larger groups can book the adjacent holiday home - Ledge View, a cleverly converted Nissen hut. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 2 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. Please note, if you would like bedrooms 1 or 3 to be arranged as a twin, or bedrooms 2 or 4 to be arranged as a super king-size, please contact us directly 7 days before arrival.  It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted.

Neighbourhood information

Hill View Rise is in a rural setting, approximately one mile from the centre of the sleepy village of Weston Subedge, where you’ll find the Seagrave Arms – a Cotswold inn serving food and drink. The village is just a five-minute drive to the popular Cotswold towns of Chipping Campden and Broadway. Located on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, Hill View Rise is set within prime walking country - it’s just a short walk to the Cotswold Way at Dover’s Hill - home to the Cotswold Olympicks - and has an outstanding view of the Malvern Hills in the near distance. Eating Out: The Seagrave Arms in Weston Subedge is one mile down the hill on Friday Street and has a modern British menu and serves locally sourced drinks. (Booking recommended. Closed Mondays.) Chipping Campden offers an excellent range of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Pubs include The Lygon, the Noel Arms and the Eight Bells. Restaurants include Huxleys (Italian), Michael’s (Mediterranean), The Maharaja (Indian) and Cotswold House Hotel, which has two restaurants, Fig and The Bistro on the Square. For an extra special treat, try the excellent dining options at the Dormy House Hotel (2 miles) or The Fish Hotel on the Farncombe
