I found that place as an excellent retreat from a big city. A picturesque landscape, lots of silence, and a sunny garden in the morning that was what we needed. The bedroom was quite cosy and comfy.

Property information

Set in the heart of its own 15 acres, Holly Lodge is a secluded 170-year-old hunting lodge on the edge of Ravenshead. There are 4 self-contained rooms available in converted barns, complete with ensuites, places to hang clothes and a selection of tea and coffee. The formal grounds of Holly Lodge comprise landscaped gardens laid mainly to lawn with: flower borders, a variety of mature trees and shrubs, two ornamental lily ponds, an outdoor tennis court, a communal lawn courtyard with outdoor sofas, and a games room that doubles as a workspace. The grounds comprise 5 acres of woodland and three generous paddocks.
