Hollybank House is a Country House B&B and is a lovely alternative to a hotel, located in Emsworth between Portsmouth and Chichester, with free wi-fi and credit card facilities. On the outskirts of Emsworth at the top of a long private drive Hollybank House is a beautiful Georgian family home in a mature 10 acre garden, offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a wonderfully quiet haven but within easy reach of Portsmouth, the Historic Dockyard and Ferry Port, Chichester, Goodwood, Hayling Island, Chichester Harbour and the South Downs. Friendly, comfortable accommodation whether you are on business, visiting friends and family, exploring our diverse area, attending an event at Goodwood, enjoying a relaxing few days, or wanting a good nights rest before a Channel crossing. The perfect location for a family reunion or house party for a group of friends. Hollybank House was built in 1825 with many beautiful architectural features which remain unchanged. The house, which is a family home, offers spacious, friendly accommodation and guests enjoy breakfast around the large table in the elegant dining room.

Neighbourhood information

The old fishing village of Emsworth is at the centre of a fascinating area with Portsmouth and its Historic Dockyard and the new Mary Rose Museum to the West, Chichester, a walled Roman Cathedral City with its famous Festival Theatre, and Goodwood, to the East, the South Downs National Park to the North and Chichester Harbour, an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’, to the South, all within a 10 mile radius. There is a large variety of restaurants and pubs in the town, providing a excellent range of food from a Michelin Star Restaurant to harbourside cafes. The Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, featuring HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the new Mary Rose Museum together with a boat trip around Portsmouth Harbour and all its associated history, makes a day out on its own without even visiting the shopping and restaurants at ‘Gunwharf Quays’ and the spectacular 130 m Spinnaker Tower from which the view of Portsmouth and the Solent is stunning.
