Home Farm is a luxury Bed and Breakfast in Muir of Ord on the outskirts of the Black Isle. We have 3 letting rooms, a guests lounge and a conservatory overlooking our very large garden, which we are more than happy for our guests to use. We provide Dinner which needs to be booked in advance. For Breakfast and Dinner we use as much local and Scottish produce as posibible, through the summer months we grow our own vegetables and soft fruit. we have our wn flock of very happy free range hens the will upply all your breakfast eggs!! We are graded 4 star GOLD by the Scottish Tourist Board and have received several wards for our food and our customer service. We aim to make your stay ith us a happy and relaxed time, and we hope you will arrive as guests and leave as friends. We are ideally situated for touring the North and West Highlands, why not come and stay a few nights and check out our wonderful area.
Sue and Stewart have run Home Farm Bed and Breakfast since 2003 and have an excellent knowledge of not only the surrounding area but much further afield. Interests include bird watching and they encourage birds into their very large garden with many bird feeders and tables which can be easily seen from the dinning room and conservatory. Walking and a love of nature are also high on the list of things to do and Stewart has an excellent knowledge of where to go to see deer, eagles, birds and all manner of wonderful places and walks. Sue loves to cook and can be found most nights in the kitchen preparing dinner, she like to provide good home cooked meals in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Based on the outskirts of the Black Isle, Home Farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery with many places to visit. Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Glen Strathfarrar, and Strath Conon to name just a few of the beautiful Glens to visit. The Moray Firth Dolphins are just a short drive away from us at Canonry Point which is noted as the best place in the Uk to see bottlenose dolphins. Several castles are within easy reach from Home Farm, Dunrobin, Urquhart, Cawdor, and Brodie. Come stay ands see our wonderful area, 1 night is definately not enough!!!!
