Nestled in the heart of Northumberland, The Watchtower is the perfect place to enjoy a tranquil break with the coast and countryside right on your doorstep. With peaceful surroundings and views for miles, this three-bedroom holiday home is ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a relaxing retreat. Please note that the stairs leading up to the living area are quite steep and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

The Watchtower is located in the small village of Waren Mill, just a short distance from Belford. Ideally situated on the Northumberland coast, but also with the wilderness of the Northumberland National Park close by, you really do have lots to discover. Right on the coast, The Watchtower is in an incredible setting. You can enjoy long, quiet walks and energetic hikes through the countryside and along the coast. The area is packed with wildlife and even features a nature reserve close by, so birds like wildfowl and waders can be seen passing through in droves during the winter. Belford has a thriving and friendly market square at its centre, brimming with independent shops, restaurants and inns. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from various points around the village and is within easy reach. It’s an ideal base for those wanting to partake in a spot of fishing and golfing. The Watchtower is just a short 5-minute drive from the gorgeous coastal town of Bamburgh. Here you’ll find miles of stunning sandy shores and Bamburgh Castle, which is one of the finest castles in the country.
