The house is perfect. Be ready for stairs though as it has 3 levels. Had everything you needed (except a potato masher lol). Cleanliness 100%. Parking was plenty adequate. Location is perfect, not too much of a walk to town.
TV in each bedroom is a bonus.
I loved staying there, we were on a trip, we had stay overs in Scotland, London, Liverpool and Huddersfield. Huddersfield was by far the best of the accommodation. I could easily live there.
Would 100% recommend this to other travelers.

The staff at Cedar Court Huddersfield are extremely professional and helpful in all departments.
Good breakfast choice with cooked options if you ask.
Evening food is delicious and nicely presented
Good choice of gluten free options.
Nightmare getting AWAY from a John Smiths Stadium concert!
Gridlocked around the stadium for 2-3 hours.
Many taxi firms refuse to do pick ups at this time.
Seek refuge in The Yorkshire Rose pub next to the Stadium.
Hope Hotel could put on a return transfer somehow!
First concert right next to a hillside covered in trees!
Beautiful Yorkshire countryside with lots to see and do so close by.

It's easy to get around on foot.
It's easy to get around on foot. There are a lot of interesting looking places to eat. The Turkish cafe did a great breakfast platter that was absolutely the highlight of my stay.
A lot of the town feels run down and at night a little unsafe. There are some okay nightlife spots, but on Friday night they were nearly empty, as were most of the eateries I passed.

Huddersfield (despite the fact that it has TWO Wetherspoons)...
Huddersfield (despite the fact that it has TWO Wetherspoons) is a very forward-thinking town for pubs and real ale in particular...two excellent pubs at either end of the railway station proves this point. Maybe being a university town makes it a popular place for thse things, but It only takes 'short' bus ride into the local villages to enjoy the scenery, brown stone buildings and decent chippies (and more pubs) if you run out of things to do. Amazing town hall (decent gigs) and a couple of theatres for us culturally-minded folks. Just prepare yourself for getting really cold at certain times of the year.

Loved Beaumont Park.
Loved Beaumont Park. In need of new safer paths but a fantastic Victorian park with beautiful views. Very steep as on a hillside and some unkept pathways so not for those who are unsteady.
Castle hill with huge views and a large Victorian tower.
First time I've booked a hotel room here and loved my stay. My stay far exceeded my expectations. I needed my room by 2 and they went the extra mile to make sure it was ready and informed me when it was ready. The check-in was a breeze. And the room far exceeded my expectation, very clean and spacious. Everything was spot on. The best hotel room I've had by far. And check-out was seemless. Everything 10/10. And Zara the staff member was very polite and informative. Definitely using Central Lodge again. Thanks guys.
Traditional inn that keeps the spirit of West Yorkshire alive, just a short drive from Huddersfield. Well maintained, clean and cosy rooms, no noise from outside even though the restaurant was busy. Comfortable bed, good bathroom/ toilet/ shower, loved the coffee machine with pods, which is way better than the minimal pouches of cheap instant that others offer. Staff was courteous, food was great. I would definitely stay again.
It was the perfect home base to stay with friend and family for my graduation from the University of Huddersfield. Much more comfortable that hotel rooms would have been. Nice homely & quirky touches throughout the property, everything was clean - loved the huge shower too! Its also clearly a place that kids would adore - great for a family stay. I slept in the 'Jelly Bean Attic' which the big kid in me adored haha!
Great location for concert at Huddersfield FC, comfy & clean room and parking. On arriving someone else was checked into our room but the lovely chap who helped us sorted us another room with no problem. Also as we were there to see Muse, the hotel gave everyone there for the concert a Muse mug! Such a lovely sweet gesture, and the staff are friendly and attentive. would 100% stay again!
Perfect location
Very easy self check in
I messaged the property a couple of times and was impressed with their helpful responses each time
The room was very clean and spacious.
Although we didn't use the parking facilities, they look extremely secure and definitely worth considering.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here the next time I visit Huddersfield
We loved the clean fresh feel, the very comfy bed and the proximity to Huddersfield John Smith Stadium. It is walking distance to the town centre and plenty of places to get a coffee or a pizza. Plenty of on street parking nearby.
Communication with the owner was very good.
We would 100% stay here again.
I travelled for a meeting at the hotel and so it couldn't have been more convenient. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Briar Court Hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Great location in the town centre. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, the rooms were large and the ceiling windows were a lovely feature. The shops are on your doorstep which is convenient. The property was convenient for the one night we were in Huddersfield.
great location, just in front of the University of Huddersfield. has a separate kitchen, the room is very quiet, and cannot hear the noise from other rooms in the same building. got a small radiator and the heating to keep the room warm
The stay was very enjoyable, great hosts who always made sure I was comfortable. The location was quite close to Huddersfield central and overall matched the expectations that I had prior to arriving.
A can honestly say it’s the best apartment I’ve stayed in
So clean and the Bath is amazing would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay if you are visiting Huddersfield
