Our peaceful lodge is nestled in an area of natural outstanding beauty. We are lucky to be centrally-located, providing easy access to the very special local village of Ticehurst. With a visit to The Bell being a must! Wadhurst, Tunbridge Wells and Hawkhurst are an easy drive away. We also have many wonderful National Trust places situated near by to visit during your stay as well as some beautiful walks. Bewl Water Reservoir is stunning and is just a five minute walk away from the Lodge.
We will always be available during your stay if you need help with anything however large or small! Do please ring or text us at anytime.
The village of Ticehurst is a trendy abs very buzzy! The Bull Inn is our wonderful local pub, it also has a playground. It can get very busy especially during the summer months so it is worth booking in advance. The Bell is our other local pub, a 25 minute walk away through beautiful woods and fields, or a 5 minute car journey. Tichurst also has two special and rather unique coffee shops which are well worth a visit, namely The Greedy Goat and By The Weigh. The Old Haberdashery is a magical and unique treasure trove of fun! Maynard's Pick Your Own Fruit Farm is very near too, there are also stunning walks, or bike rides around Bewl Water (13 miles in total.) Plenty of private off road parking for two or three cars right outside the property.
