A beautiful home just a short distance from Fishbourne and the ferry terminal (15min walk / 3 min drive). The house has five bedrooms (4 upstairs / 1 downstairs) a large open plan living room leading on to a conservatory. There is a fully fitted kitchen with dining table and a separate dining room. Downstairs there is a toilet, while upstairs there is a family bathroom and the 2 largest bedrooms are ensuite. There are 2 baths with showers in the house, and 1 separate shower. While the house is over 100 years old, the decor is light, bright and contemporary. The garden is large with lots of beautiful mature trees and plants. There is also an 8 seater hot tub. The gated house has a large driveway for parking.
We are a family of four and come to the Isle of Wight for holidays.
The house is ideally located a short drive (3mins) or short walk (15mins) from the Wightlink ferry terminal at Firshbourne. The house is private and surrounded by fields. You can see the historic Quarr Abbey from the house. The Abbey is a short walk (5 mins) where there is a garden cafe. The Fishbourne Inn is also a 15min walk from the house. Wooton is the closest village with a Tesco Local, Majestic Wine and restaurants / take-aways. The bustling seaside town, Ryde, which has shops, restaurants, amusements and a large beach is a 10min drive. The house is well positioned for visiting the whole of the island with good bus routes as well as good roads if driving.
