Name is a wonderfully presented shepherd's hut located on the fringes of Rhayader, in Powys. It is a self-contained, all ground floor setup boasting a double bed, kitchen with breakfast bar, sitting area, woodburning stove and an en-suite shower room. To the exterior is a lovely decking area with a luxurious hot tub overlooking the stunning countryside surrounds. There is also ample off-road parking. Name is a fabulous bolthole for a romantic couple seeking a unique experience in a wonderful region of Wales. No infants allowed Note:This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 250Ivy's Way can only accept bookings that start on a Friday for 3 nights, or Monday for 4 nights. 7 night bookings are also accepted however, must start and end on a Friday or a Monday.

Neighbourhood information

Rhayader is the first town on the River Wye, with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, and amenities with the added bonus of a leisure centre. The Elan Valley offers a variety of walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitor’s centre with café and children's play area. Visit Builth Wells, where the Spring Festival, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair are all held annually. Alternatively, a scenic drive will take you to the Welsh coast 34 miles away.
