It has received this status because of it’s panoramic views, varied landscapes including Jurassic coast, heathland moors and wooded combes. Attractive villages and undulating farmland such as Tilbury Farm all form part of this distinctive landscape which is so outstanding that it is in the nation’s interest to safeguard them. Exmoor National Park is within a 30 minute drive from Tilbury Farm and is also well worth a visit. Moorland, woodland, valleys, farmland, rivers, villages and towns. Somerset is a beautiful and unspoilt county and the Quantock Hills AONB and Exmoor National Park are a special part of that.
