His passion for fossil hunting is evident throughout the decor of the Rock Star Airstream, which was owned by Roger Daltrey of The Who Nick is happy to share this interest with guests and can take groups on night-time fossil hunts for an additional charge. His dedication to camping with a difference extends beyond Hartridge Springs; he also owns another business, Buzz Campers, where he rents out modern, uniquely styled electric campers. In his quest to add more options for unique camping stays, Nick has started a collaboration with a company called Unidome and together they offer handcrafted, wooden-clad domes and 360-degree panoramic domes. This partnership allows for a truly bespoke glamping experience, with the added option of hiring a wood-fired hot tub for an additional fee to complement your stay.

Jurassic Airstreams at Hartridge Springs is located within the Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Situated on the side of a hill, it offers stunning valley views. The site provides a truly unique glamping experience, with a range of handcrafted accommodation to choose from. All units are off-grid and powered by solar-electric power and each has a bespoke interior. Guests can choose from: - Three Airstream-style Caravans - Handcrafted Uni Domes - Bell Tent. For guest comfort, there is a shared shower and toilet block, with all water sourced from a natural spring 100 feet below the ground. You can also enjoy a wood-fired sauna on-site, which is free for guests to use. A complimentary bag of logs is provided for both the sauna and a dedicated fire pit, with additional logs available for purchase. For an extra touch of luxury, you have the option to hire a wood-fired hot tub for an additional fee. To ensure a peaceful and private experience, all the units are spaced far apart. Guests also have exclusive access to 16 acres of private woodland for exploring.

Just a short drive away is the charming market town of Honiton, renowned for its rich history of lace-making and its many antique shops. You can wander through the town's historic streets, also hosting a lively weekly market, offering a taste of local life and produce. For a change of pace, the historic city of Exeter is a short drive away. As Devon's vibrant capital, it offers a blend of ancient history and modern culture. You can explore the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, take a unique tour of the Underground Passages, or wander around the vibrant Quayside, which is perfect for a stroll by the river. The city also features a great mix of shops, restaurants, and museums, including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Through our woodland, you can access Hartridge Buddhist Monastery which offers guests a unique opportunity to experience a peaceful environment just a short walk away. You also have the added convenience of being close to the neighboring campsite, Otter Falls. They have generously allowed guests of Hartridge Springs to use their on-site pub, the Tickled Trout.
