Kell House is a family run bed and breakfast located in the heart of Nidderdale and on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our three bedrooms are large and comfortable with view of the Dale and we use natural products wherever we can including soft cotton bedding. A full Yorkshire breakfast is included in the price of your stay, comprising of locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and homemade bread, jams and marmalade. Our breakfast room is for your use throughout your stay, to come and go as you please. We have maps and information of the local area, and encourage you to use the breakfast room as a cosy corner for relaxing and planning your stay. You are also very welcome to get a take away from Pateley Bridge (plenty within walking distance!) and eat in the breakfast room - we’ll provide you with all the cutlery and crockery you’ll need. We have a drying room adjoining the breakfast room for your walking boots, cycling and walking clothes after a day out in the Yorkshire countryside.

Kell House is a family run bed and breakfast owned by us, Heather and Jonathan Rose. After running a successful gastro pub in the Vale of York, we decided to relocate to the Yorkshire Dales, to pursue our love for walking with our springer spaniel, Moss. The market town of Pateley Bridge was always a favourite place to visit and this is where we discovered the beautiful Kell House. After spending 18 months lovingly restoring Kell House we were then ready to welcome guests to our bed and breakfast. We are passionate about using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible; and we support businesses in Pateley Bridge, such as the butchers, bakers and greengrocers when producing our delicious Yorkshire breakfasts. We would love to recommend our favourite walks and places to visit and to eat in the area so please don't hesitate to get in touch or ask on your arrival. Our location is ideal for discovering the famous town of Pateley Bridge, with its specialist food shops, cafés and tea shops, local craft workshops and so much more. It's also an ideal centre for walks such as the Nidderdale Way, the 6 Dales Way, cycling routes including the Way of the Roses, and exploring many famous local attractions such as Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey, Stump Cross Caverns or the delights of the Spa town Harrogate. There are an abundance of local restaurants, pubs, cafés and takeaways for you to choose from, most within a 5 to 10 minute walk away in Pateley Bridge.
