Kirkaig Lodge is South of Lochinver on the Inverkirkaig road,we are sign posted at the road side as you approach Kirkaig Bay, 10 minutes drive from LOCHINVER AND THE RESTAURANTS. We are situated on a working croft in very scenic and picturesque surroundings. You are welcome to walk around the croft or surrounding area. Relax and enjoy the full panoramic sea-scape from the seats and benches on the lawn, or from the dining room/ lounge area. The house is large and all rooms are spacious and comfortable with underfloor heating, We have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, though we do not encourage food preparation or eating meals in the rooms. We have a large modern sauna at the Lodge which is available to guests.
We are a husband and wife family run B and B and we offer a friendly and relaxed welcome, we are situated off the beaten track which does not always suit every one if you want every amenity close by. We enjoy hosting and try to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We also have 2 small dogs at the Lodge, (even though we do not accept guests pets) our dogs are not allowed in the B and B areas of the house.
We are central to the hill walkers dream location, we are surrounded by most of the Assynt and Coigach mountains and most of the walking trails. Water sport- Divers, canoeists are all welcome, as are cyclists, we have a large shed for bike and equipment storage .
