Our home is located in Hampton Vale, part of Peterborough sitting in a tranquil area with an almost village like feel. A highly specified and extremely clean modern newly built lakeside townhouse with great quality local amenities, shops, restaurants, a lakeside pub. Regular transport to the city centre and surrounding areas. The bedroom (located on a separate light & airy floor) which at over 14SqM is larger than most has its own exclusive use large separate bathroom opposite, a couple of steps away, including a brand new powerful shower installed in 2020 to ensure our guests receive a great experience. We wish those who choose us to experience the feeling of space, privacy and high comfort whilst staying with us. We also provide the added extra (as we care) of a regular room refresh during guest stays. As this is our home and we respect all our guests privacy, we do not have locks on the bedroom doors. So we maintain high standards of guest accomodation, decoration & facilities, providing a real “home from home” feeling, we are proud that this bedroom together with the whole house had a high quality full internal repaint and a new designer kitchen in April, 2022 (see photos).
Welcome to our guest(s) and we sincerely thank you for choosing to stay with us. We love meeting our guests and getting to know them and take great pride in our facilities and guest comfort to make your stay pleasurable and a real "home from home". It's located in front of a large (shallow) lake, with its own resident swans and seasonal geese visitors which makes for a relaxing and tranquil stay with great views. Our home is extremely modern, very clean and well presented. Since we retired, from 07th May, 2019 we added a miniature Dauchund puppy called Frankie to our family and home, however whilst he likes cuddles he will not be allowed near any guest bedrooms. We are really pleased and so grateful that all our guests (both new and returning) have felt so at home, staying with us to award us the highest rating of 5/5* (on another accomodation site we also use) consistently for over the past 7 years. We are really looking forward to meeting you and providing you with what we hope you will feel is a great and relaxing stay. Hampton Vale was designed and built around 2009 and occupies an area just south of Peterborough city centre, sitting in a tranquil area with an almost village like feel. It is famous for having a great variety of open space, lakes and outdoor areas that facilitate walking and cycling. For those that like great food nearby to your stay, there is an amazing Italian restaurant, Indian/Nepalese restaurant, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway and country feel waterside pub all less than two minutes walk away from our home. Should you enjoy walking and cycling, there is a great range of tracks where you can either enjoy the nature reserves or nearby lakes. If you are travelling by car, our home is located approximately 10 minutes convenient drive from the A1. If you are arriving by train or not by car, there is a taxi rank just outside of Peterborough railway station, where the journey will take approx 10 minutes. There is also a regular bus service every 30 minutes between the city centre (departing from the Queensgate bus station) and Hampton Vale, taking circa 25 minutes, that operates 7 days a week from approximately 6am - 11pm Mon - Sat and hourly between 9am- 10pm on a Sunday.
