It has undergone extensive, careful refurbishment to a very high specification, giving it every modern convenience and bringing it right up to date. The layout of the house flows beautifully and without a doubt, the views from its large, south facing windows across the valley to the surrounding fells are absolutely stunning. They would be hard to beat anywhere! The dual aspect lounge featuring a large picture window is bright and airy and has an open fire. The large double bedroom has its luxurious bathroom with bath and separate shower opposite. Upstairs is a twin bedroom with wash hand basin and a spacious double bedroom. These rooms share a separate shower room. Outside the garden is beautifully kept and made even more interesting by the stream that runs through it. Neighbourhood information

The picturesque Blea Tarn is approximately two miles away with gorgeous walks around the tarn and woodlands. Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass are just up the road. These two famous mountain passes are incredibly steep with uneven surfaces and many hairpin turns. At 1:3, Hardknott is one of the steepest roads in England. The passes take you from Langdale to Eskdale area through some amazing wild scenery. Definitely worth the drive if you are feeling confident!
