Langdale is a three story spacious townhouse, dated cira 1800, and its filled with character- from beams throughout to a warming range cooker and stone feature mantelpiece. It is large but still has a cottagey feel with great views across the fields and hills beyond. Boasting 2 separate sitting rooms (one on the top floor), a dining kitchen, 3 comfy bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it is tastefully decorated throughout. Ideally situated on Main Street with nearby pubs, restaurants, shops and amenities. The Master bedroom on the top floor has en suite shower and wardrobes, the Double bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and shares a family bath and shower room with the optional "single or twin" bedroom on the first floor. Superfast broadband means you can work from home or watch smart tv without a problem. Due to the number of stairs in this property it is unsuitable for small children/toddlers or those with mobility issues. There is no outdoor space with the property, but there are large fields opposite as well as plenty of walks with the Howgills on our doorstep. A smart TV, multitude of books and plenty of games available for those guests looking for a slower pace to life. Free on-street parking nearby. One well behaved dog allowed, by arrangement, but not allowed upstairs or on the furniture or beds please.
Langdale is our family holiday home, but we'd like to share our beautiful property with like minded people when we are not there. There's so much to see and do in the surrounding area we hope you can benefit from it also. Kick back and relax or go all out and brave the elements. Please be aware of the neighbours and enjoy the house responsibly.
Set within a lovely busy market town, Sedbergh has many award winning pubs and cafes, independent shops and is in the heart of the Howgills and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Many walkers and cyclists visit the town and Sedbergh is well known for its Bookshops, plus the local farmer's market on a Wednesday. Riverside walks, golfing, fishing and pony trekking all available locally.
