    The location. Having a jacuzzi. And amazing views. Good walks around the areas. Walking distance pub with really nice food. phone service is rubbish but the internet was good and sometimes is nice just to have a detox from the phone.

The accomodation is for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. A generously sized bedroom with ensuite walk-in shower and bath room is located in the main apartment which also offers a large living and dining space with a well appointed kitchen and entrance hall. A large sofabed is located in the living room. The second bedroom, with its own en-suite facilities, is located in an adjacent summerhouse and has beautiful views over open countryside. It is well appointed and has a large double bed, small kitchenette, (no cooking facilities), with shower and w/c. A unique experience and a chance to sleep close to nature. The hot tub, which is available for the use of guests, is not supervised and guests must take full responsibility for its use and ensure supervision of children at all times. Children under 5 are not permitted in the hot tub. Both the Apartment and Summer House have fast wi-fi and smart TVs with access to film channels. Guests have the exclusive use of a large patio area, with outside table and chairs to relax and admire the views. Located in the quiet conservation village of Hellidon, on the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire borders, the apartment and outside areas, offer stunning views over the Shuckburgh Valley with a generously sized living space in the heart of beautiful countryside, with ample private parking. The local area is perfect for walking, cycling and the apartment offers an ideal base for those visiting or working in the surrounding area. The local Red Lion pub is well known for excellent hospitality and there are lovely country pubs and several golf courses within a short driving distance. Whether you are a family looking for a lovely rural holiday getaway or someone working in the area requiring a relaxing space away from home, Stonecroft Apartment is ideal.
We have often rented apartments from other people and enjoy the experience of staying in someone's home space. But we also enjoy our own privacy. We have tried to embody all we love about traveling and staying in new places and have, we believe, created a comfortable and memorable accomodation to which our guests will return. Hellidon village is a conservation area which has stayed virtually untouched over the years. Any new building has been minimal and sympathetically carried out to ensure that the unique character of this village has remained. Within a mile, Northamptonshire borders with both Oxforshire and Warwickshire. Lovely villages abound in the area with country houses, like Althorpe, and events, like Silverstone, with friendly and comfortable pubs, several of them canalside, abounding. The historic towns of Warwick, Leaminton Spa, Stratford upon Avon are within easy reach. There is plenty to do - or you can just relax in the fully appointed apartment.
