Rhys and I purchased our caravan in May 2023. We wanted some where we could make amazing memories with the children and Barmouth was the perfect place. You will have never find anywhere in the world like it, sea on one side and mountains on the other. It's an amazing holiday destination if you're into hiking, swimming, or just want somewhere to relax and unwind. All the decor and amenities are new and modern. Our caravan is set on a hill and there are steps getting upto the caravan.
Rhys and I have two children, Hollie aged nine and Tyler aged fourteen, and we also have a 4-year-old yellow Labrador called Daisy. We enjoy hiking so we love to find new places to visit. We also enjoy swimming, and this is another reason we purchased our caravan on Hendre Coed Isaf site. There pool is lovely and spacious, and the beach is only a 5-minute drive away which is fantastic.
On-site there is a restaurant and bar which is fantastic if you didn't fancy venturing too far. If you did Barmouth town centre is only a couple minutes' drive away and has a variety of cuisines for all to enjoy. We especially enjoy Teds for burgers and loaded fries and then popping next door to Knickerbockers for dessert. There are some amazing slate caverns nearby, Llanfair Slate Caverns is one we really enjoyed and were able to take the dog to as well (She unfortunately didn't get a tiny hard hat though).
