Found in a great location in the characterful town of Beaminster, and in the heart of west Dorset, this detached cottage makes an excellent base for exploring this wonderful area. This delightful, Grade II listed home for two, is tucked away within walking distance of the town square and all its amenities. For when you want to travel out of this quaint town, within easy driving you will find the market town of Bridport, and slightly further is the scenic harbour at West Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, where the popular TV series ’Broadchurch’ was filmed. Drive in either direction taking in the Jurassic Coast and Chesil Beach, or explore Weymouth, Portland and Lyme Bay, all close by. Visit Forde Abbey and Gardens, Symondsbury Craft Centre and Broadwindsor Craft Centre, or perhaps enjoy some English wine tasting at Salway Ash. There is a wealth of attractions and country and coastal walks available from close by, or take on Golden Cap, not for the faint-hearted, to witness breathtaking views when you reach the top.
