Our love affair with the new forest started about 30 years ago with childhood memories of warm summer evenings watching robins and redstarts in sunny woodland glades, running along a patchwork of sandy paths through swathes of purple heather and dodging prickly yellow gorse bushes and bracing walks along cliff-top carpets of sea thrift protecting our ice creams from the wheeling seagulls. Not much has changed. We are passionate about the New Forest and the people, places and wildlife that make it so special. Creating an opportunity to share the bounty of the forest and help other people to discover the delights of this fabulous National Park felt like the most natural thing in the world to do.
