Little Plovers is a bespoke deluxe Blackdown Shepherd Hut. Please note there are 3 steps up to the door of the hut so not suitable for disabled guests. There are no hand rails so please consider this if you have mobility issues. It is situated at the end of our spacious garden in amongst our fruit tree orchard. You will be able to sit back and relax in our calming environment with the distant sound of our neighbour's horses, chickens and goats. You will love the Star Gazing Roof Panel which is right above the bed. The kitchenette has a fridge, 2 induction ring hob, ceramic sink and an 800 microwave. The shower room, wash and basin and loo are ensuite. The double bed with the most comfortable memory foam mattress is a very easy pull down wall bed. In the day it is a lovely lounge area and at night your bed! The decor and finish is to an extremely high standard and we really hope you have a relaxing stay with us at Plovers. There is a bbq, fire pit, seating area, table and sun umbrella for your exclusive use. We also have a Garden View Double Bedroom ensuite in our cottage with its own private entrance.
Bruce and I look forward to welcoming you to Little Plovers Shepherd Hut. We will happily chat about local walks, flora, fauna and wildlife. We have bicycles to hire (ask for price) and maps to lend. We can also lend you beach towels and body boards. We are both passionate about nature and wildlife.
We have a downstairs double bedroom ensuite that is also available and we have been hosting for four years and love meeting new people from all walks of life. Continental breakfast is provided in the cost, home made bread, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, butter, jams, milk and good selection of teas and coffee. Dietary needs are considered.
Lots to see and do on the Manhood Peninsular, West Wittering beach (we can give you directions to avoid the queues), East Wittering, Bracklesham, Itchenor and Selsey. Several RSPB reserves near by and Chichester Harbour is an AONB. There are lovely walks and cycle rides from our door. Further afield we have the South Downs and some of the most scenic walks you will encounter anywhere. We love our home and offer you a very warm welcome.
