The atmosphere was amazing, something that cannot be captured in photos. The house is very nicely decorated. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a must-experience. Thank you so much, also for the tips.

Wonderful hosts and the room/bathroom was spotlessly clean. Very generous takeaway breakfast provided as I had early start. It was very much appreciated. Great value for money.

Company information

We love meeting new people, listening to their life journey, what has brought them to this part of the world and hopefully helping them achieve what they want from their stay with us. Whether that be exploring the area and the stunning views it has or just getting away from it all to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing break.

Property information

Llanwrtyd Hall in situated in the lovely countryside of Powys, Mid-Wales. With views over the Cambrian Mountains and beyond. Llanwrtyd Wells has the title of being the smallest town in the UK but even being the smallest town it certainly packs a punch with events such as 'Man V's Horse', 'World Alternative Games including Bog Snorkeling', Real Ale Wobble and Real Ale Ramble'. Llanwrtyd Hall offers you a peaceful relaxing stay, where you can do as much or as little as you please. We also offer holistic therapies, such as Reiki, Rahanni, Crystal Healing and Transformative Meditation and Relaxation Therapy, which you can try during your stay with us. Llanwrtyd Wells motto is 'Peace Amongst Beauty', which it certainly is. A warm welcome, and a restful stay is here waiting for you, whenever you are ready. How to get to us: Although the property address is Station Road, the best way to get to us is via Irfon Terrace. When coming into Llanwrtyd Wells, you will see the Convenience Store, take the road adjacent to the store, Irfon Terrace, keep going up the hill, do not turn right onto Station Road, keep going until you reach the end of Irfon Terrace. We are the big white house at the end.

Neighbourhood information

The Town has many establishments for Eating and Drinking (www.llanwrtyd.com ) We also have a Heritage Centre that details the life of Llanwrtyd Wells, how it became a 'Wells' Town, it's involvement in the rescue of children from Czechoslovakia and it's close connection with Bromsgrove School during the second world war. This relationship is still as active today. Also in the Town there is a garage, post office, two convenience shops, General Store and Bric-a-Brac shops and doctors surgery. The walks around this area are breathtaking, guided routes of around 5 miles to more challenging walks for the more experienced. The Elan Valley and The Botanical Gardens of Wales are a short drive away, as well as the Kite feeding station in Rhayder. The sight of over a hundred birds gathering in the sky is amazing. See if you can spot the two albino birds amongst these. April brings the cycle race up over the Devil's Staircase. June, Man v's Horse Race, where people race over the Devil's Staircase against horseback riders. July, The Royal Welsh Show. August time for a little madness with the Bog Snorkeling event. November, The Real Ale Wobble (bike ride) and the Real Ale Ramble (walking event).
