Lochinver Guest House is full of character - we've tried to complement the features such as the impressive Victorian staircase, with beautiful antiques and the luxury of modern comforts. We are located on one of Ayr's most beautiful streets, with its handsome sandstone Victorian houses and avenue of cherry trees. Although we are located in a leafy and quiet street - we are only 5 minutes walk to town centre shops. One of our favourite restaurants is only a 4-minute walk door to door. We are close to a lot of great places to visit too. Culzean Castle, where I used to work, is only a 25-minute drive, as is Dumfries House and the Maritime Museum, and within walking distance are the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Rozelle Park and art gallery, Bellisle Park with its restored conservatory and of course the beach which is only 7 minutes walk away.

Impressive Victorian features combine with modern comfort, from the luxury cotton bed linen and antique furniture, to the mouth-watering Lochinver breakfast served in our comfortable spacious dining room, and afternoon tea served in the elegant drawing room. We have seven beautiful guest bedrooms - each with a different character and all offering comfortable beds & private or en-suite facilities. Little extras such as bathrobes, luxury toiletries, bottled water, flat screen TVs, DAB radios, hospitality trays and ironing facilities are provided in each guest room.

Our hallmark is our breakfasts served in the comfortable, bright dining room overlooking the courtyard, and all our guest rooms are beautifully furnished with antiques and vintage pieces, combined with modern comforts such as luxury bedlinen, deluxe bathrobes and little extras.
