Farmhouse accommodation is provided in our newly converted stables. The stables were for the heavy horses used on the farm until the 1960's, they were converted into luxury accommodation in 2011. There are 3 rooms on two levels, each room is a beautifully appointed studio apartment with a bathroom or wet room. The 2 rooms upstairs each have a small cooker, fridge and sink if you wish to stay in for the evening, otherwise there is a wide choice of excellent inns and restaurants in which to dine in the area. The stables on the ground floor are suitable for disabled access. The rooms are warm, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all King size and dressed with Egyptian cotton linen and down duvets and pillows (unless you are allergic to feathers). Breakfast is served in the dining room of the 17th century farmhouse or on sunny mornings if you wish in the garden. We cater for all diets; gluten free, lactose or nut intolerant, vegan and vegetarian, just let us know. Parking is adjacent to the accommodation. We welcome cyclists and walkers and can collect you from the rail station in Crewkerne (just 2 miles away). Located just opposite The Haselbury Mill Restaurant.
"From the colourful gardens, to the rustic and spacious rooms, from the quality breakfast to the very welcoming & accommodating hosts Mary & Mike, our stay was top notch". "The owners were super helpful". "Whatever you do if you stay, take time to visit Mary & Mike’s friendly pig who will be very happy to see you especially if you take her some food". "A very pleasant stay. Hosts were so welcoming & friendly. Stayed in Willow room as my husband is disabled. Perfect for us. So spacious. Little touches in room of fresh milk & fresh flowers were lovely. Bed so comfortable we didn't want to leave it but worth getting up for the breakfast that was one of the best we've had. Would recommend a stay here to anyone. We will definitely be back". Stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Haselbury Mill which is just opposite. A beautiful house and gardens. Room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom. As a few people have mentioned the bed was amazing. Possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, the best nights sleep."
We are located between the A303 and the A30 near the attractive market town of Crewkerne. This is Ham stone country with rolling hills, pretty villages and market towns. There are many National Trust properties in the area, Barrington Court, Montacute and Tintinhull, and privately owned properties that are open such as Forde Abbey and East Lambrook Manor. Situated on the River Parrett trail the location is ideal for walkers and cyclists. 17 miles to the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis.
