Hexham Holiday Homes was established in 2018 after owner, Jordan Dodwell, decided to 'airbnb' his apartment after moving into his partners house. This immediately took off and now there are 10 properties in our portfolio. Some of which are currently under refurbishment prior to going on the market. We plan to keep the business small to ensure we continue to offer a professional & reliable service from a small team. We employ a team of hard working cleaners who maintain Jordans High standards throughout the year. While staying with us you will receive discounts in selected local shops and eateries as well as a vast amount of information about the area. Once you have booked with us you will receive an online information pack which is filled with information on the property & its surroundings. A member of the team (usually Jordan) is always around to assist guests with any help or advice, should they require it, during their stay.

PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY UNDER GOING A REFURBISHMENT & NEW PHOTOS WILL COME MARCH 2022. It is situated in the west end of Hexham, just a 5 minute walk from the town centre which has an abundance of independent shops & restaurants. With a grocery store nearby and local transport links only 10 minutes away on foot, this fully equipped apartment is an ideal base when visiting Hexham using public transport. However, with free on street parking this does not restrict guests who will be arriving in their own vehicles. Head out the door and find the local park only 500m away, perfect for entertaining the kids on a sunny day. Traveling further afield you can find the famous roman forts of housesteads and vindolanda only a 20 minute drive away and they are easily accessible on the local bus service. As per all our properties, the spectacular Northumbrian coastline and the gateway to the lake district are only 1hr away, meaning The Roman Apartment is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of the UK. Located on the same street as our other apartments, ‘The Hadrian’ & ‘The Abbey’ groups can book these out, stay close to each other whilst still enjoying the privacy of their own space.

Hexham is a beautiful old market town and provides a perfect base to discover the famous Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland's national park, as it is just on our doorstep. Things to do... Where do we start? Pack your walking boots as Northumberland is home to some of the most legendary walking routes; Northumberland's famous coast line is only 30 minutes drive away which is perfect for a day out; Go star gazing at Kielder observatory which is famous for having the darkest skies in England; Visit Alnwick castle and tree-house for a fun packed family day out; Wentworth Lesisure centre (swimming pool and bowling alley) and Hexham cinema are both great to visit on a rainy day Places to eat...
