Located within Fernthorpe Hall set in beautiful private grounds, in the heart of Uppermill, this luxury studio is just five minutes walk from the galleries, shops and cafe bars of this quaint, culturally active village. You will be warmly welcomed by your hosts Peter & Geoff to a newly furnished comfortable double room with king size bed, seating area, TV, separate kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster) shower room. Whether business or pleasure we hope you have an enjoyable stay with us
we have been using Airbnb for many years on our travels and we are now able to return some hospitality as we set up on the hosting route ourselves. We are available on site most of the time for local information and tips
Uppermill is a picturesque village on the edge Saddleworth Moor, right by the Pennine Way so great for walkers. There are also many popular events on in the Village - Whit Friday Band Contest, Rush Cart Festival, Annual santa dash. The village has many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as a village store, Post Office and many independent shops and there is always a welcoming atmosphere It is only a 20 minute walk to Greenfield station where trains run to Manchester and Huddersfield and Leeds, or a 5 minute drive with plenty of parking. Buses also serve the area including Oldham and Ashton Under Lyne. Uppermill is easily accessed from both the M62 and the M60
