Welcome to Lydeard Farm Bush Camp & Lodges, exclusively yours for your family or group. Nestled in the heart of our farm surrounded by 70 acres situated on the Quantock Hills in Somerset. Our lodges are tucked away in their own private hidden valley. You will have the opportunity to have your own bit of tranquil countryside, with sole use of the lodges that you have booked. Exclusively yours for your own family or group. We are located in Broomfield, Somerset and welcome bookings from a family group, school, college or corporate bookings. Each booking has sole use of the Bush Camp & allocated lodge. Our minimum guest numbers are 8. We can sleep up to 56 guests using our other lodges. Bring all bedding and towels. Bookings are; • Self-catering • Peaceful • Beautiful • Freedom to roam Lydeard Farm Bush Camp & Lodges allows you to enjoy being off grid. There is no wifi and little mobile reception – although you can get some networks if you head up to the top of the hill. The bush camp includes the indoor shelter and our outside BBQ and camp fire area. These are very social areas to dine, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The indoor shelter is the perfect relaxing space. Inside you will find bench seating and tables are which can be laid out as you wish to accommodate your group or cosy up around the wood burner. On warmer days the sides of the shelter can be opened up and you can enjoy the atmosphere on the outside benches. Within the shelter you will have access to the cooking facilities in the bush camp kitchen including; 5-ring gas cooker with large oven, basic kitchen utensils, all the pots and pans you will need cutlery and crockery. A toaster, electric kettles, small microwave, 2 l fridges, small deepfreeze. BBQ implements provided along with a bag of charcoal and box of firelighters. Starter bag of logs for the fires. Extras can be purchased. Cleaning sprays, mop and bucket, broom for sweeping. Re-cycling of all waste.

We are a family business and very much look forward to welcoming you to our farm. We live onsite on the Farm and will meet you on arrival and show you to your lodge and show you the workings of the bush camp shelter. We can also share local walking maps and other points of interest.

We are situated in a beautiful quiet area. The nearest pub is a 10 minute drive in Enmore or Kingston St Mary. The nearest supermarkets are located in Bridgwater or Taunton, 15 minute drive. Waking and mountain biking Stunning scenery and options in the nearby Quantock Hills Fyne Court National trust. Fyne Court is a hidden gem in the heart of the Quantock Hills. You can explore this wild garden and discover pieces of its history hiding in the undergrowth. Short walk or drive from Lydeard Farm. Taunton The market town of Somerset. Home of the County Cricket Club, Somerset museum, high street shopping and dining. Hollywood bowl, cinema complex, swimming pool. Travel time 15 minutes. Dunster Medieval village & castle within Exmoor National Park. Travel time 35 minutes. Kilve Beach The beach of Kilve lies about halfway between Minehead and Bridgwater in the heart of the Quantocks. The shoreline is mostly rocky with plenty of rockpools to explore towards low tide. One of the best features of Kilve beach is the large grassy area behind the beach which is ideal for picnics.
