Masongill Lodge is a splendid, Grade II listed two-storey property, built in 1709 and situated just within the western boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the border with Lancashire and Cumbria, a stone's through from the pretty village of Ingleton and sort after market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.

Information correct at time of writing. During your stay take the time to visit Ingleton, just a five-minute drive away. A fetching little village with great local and culture. Within walking distance Thornton-in-Lonsdale boasts Country Harvest, a farm shop, café and so much more. The Marton Arms conveniently close being just two miles down the road, serving outstanding food and hosting a tremendous atmosphere you will not be disappointed with this village pub. Kirby Lonsdale is a must, filled with independent boutiques, tearooms, eateries such as Number Nine or Platos Restaurant and of course the famous Devil's Bridge beauty spot, the perfect resting spot for a picnic. Close by is the renowned town of Kendal. A simple thirty-minute drive through breath taking scenery will get you there. Kendal provides a plethora of shops, cafes, pubs, museums and of course, Kendal Mint Cake. Popular local attractions include the nearby Ingleborough peak, Ingleton waterfalls, White Scar Cave, Settle/Carlisle railway, Holker Hall and the Lune Valley leading to Morecambe Bay
