We have provided self-catering holiday accommodation to our customers for over 30 years. Our family-run business aims to provide our guests with a fantastic holiday experience and great value for money.

Property information

The Middle Byre sleeps six people, the double bedroom has en suite facilities with shower and bath, a twin room with en suite wet room, and a further twin room with its own shower room and toilet. Middle Byre is a bungalow and is fully accessible to customers who may have mobility issues. This cottage has been lovingly renovated from an old milking byre into a beautiful accommodation with glorious views over the Galloway hills. There is a six-seat Hot Tub installed on the patio for you and your family and friends to relax in and enjoy the stunning sunsets in summer or the majestic display of stars in winter. The property is nestled in the Girthon Valley and is surrounded by some of the best scenery in Galloway, with great walks nearby, both woodland and coastal. The Middle Byre is our largest property and it is equipped with Sky TV and has a lovely conservatory to enjoy. The nearest EV charging is 2.5 miles away in Gatehouse of Fleet. EV charging from the property's power supply is not permitted. The Car park is covered by a camera.

Please bring along the family to make the most of The Middle Byre, its interior comprises of a lounge with pleasant views and a sunroom which looks out over the private patio, backed by fields and The Galloway hills in the distance. 3 bedrooms, two have en-suites, and one is accessible for wheelchair users. After a peaceful night's sleep in the room of your choice, settle down in the kitchen/diner, with a warm cup of tea as you relax by the window, planning out your day.
