We're looking forward to welcome you at Our House in Ormiston. Ormiston is located about 14 miles Southeast of Edinburgh. East Coast Buses operates a direct bus from Ormiston to Edinburgh – line 113. The bus journey takes approximately 40 minutes. The village was the first planned village in Scotland, founded in 1735 by John Cockburn, one of the initiators of the Agricultural Revolution. There are several shops in Ormiston: The Co-operative Store, Post Office, The Little Superstore and Well Pharmacy next to Ormiston Medical Centre. There is an exceptional Ormiston Park with free parking, library, children play area, football pitch, picnic area, skate park and pump track.
