Property information
Moonzie Mill House is a charming holiday retreat set in the peaceful Fife countryside, close to the village of Balmullo. This spacious, thoughtfully converted mill (circa 1993) comfortably accommodates 9 guests comfortably, with space for 1 additional guest, making it well-suited for families, friends, or small gatherings.
Originally a working mill powered by the nearby Moonzie Burn, the property has a rich history, with parts of the original buildings dating back around 150 years. Access to the property is via a private unmade road.
The master bedroom is an absolute standout, featuring an Emperor bed, private dressing room, and en suite bathroom - perfect for that touch of ultimate luxury. Two additional Super King bedrooms provide plenty of space for guests to stretch out and unwind, while the fourth bedroom offers two twin beds and an additional day bed. There’s also a folding z-bed available, kept in the dressing room cupboard of the master suite. With three en suite bathrooms, a spacious family bathroom, and two separate WCs, no one will have to wait in line!
The heart of the home is the large open-plan kitchen diner; a bright and sociable space with modern appliances and ample seating. Patio doors lead directly to the garden, where you can enjoy al fresco dining or simply soak in the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Two comfortable lounge areas provide plenty of room to relax, whether you’re curling up with a good book or enjoying movie night with loved ones. For added entertainment, the games room offers a fun escape for kids and adults alike.
Regarding the unmade entrance road; it's uneven in parts and raised in the middle, so we’d recommend a vehicle with decent clearance.
Moonzie Mill House is surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, offering panoramic views over the stunning Fife countryside. The garden is a haven for relaxation, with plenty of space for children to play whilst adults can unwind with a glass of wine - or two!
