Have you have spent the night in a museum? The loft is sitting on top of a small hat museum and is transporting you into an unusual and quirky setting. Be surprised! Beautiful views onto the Tay estuary.
I am a textile artist and milliner with a textile studio adjacent to the airbnb in Newburgh, Fife. I always welcome my guests and I am around to be helpful when required. I also like to see my guests off to wish them a good journey home. Not essential but I love to get feedback. For the use of the washing machine you will have to access a shared area. At arrival I will show you were to park and answer all your questions you have regarding our local shops and services. I am looking forward to be welcoming you!
Newburgh is famous for it being very welcoming. People are proud of their wee town. The river Tay which is just across the road provides ongoing entertainment….river walks, a play ground, watching sailing boats, rowers , bird life ….. Newburgh is also the start for the Fife Coastal Walk. Why not set off from here or finish your walk in Newburgh….. Why not visit our local Lindores Distillery or the 12th century abbey ruins? We are only a short drive away from Falkland with its Tudor architecture and Falkland palace. Outlander was filmed here and a sense of history is found around every corner. From there you can extent your day trip to St Andrews or East Neuk with its coastline of historical fishing villages. Newburgh has a bus to Perth, St Andrews, Cupar and Ladybank. Perth and Ladybank are your link with Scottish Rail.
